UK • For the production of labels and film, MPH Fulfilment, an UK-based label and packaging company, have purchased their sixth Edale press. The new 10-colour FL3 printing press has a width of 430 mm (16.92”) and is currently undergoing installation.

The company plans to use the FL3 alongside a Comac 500; a linerless coating machine which allows the application of multiple release and adhesive lines on printed master reels and is set to make them ready for use on a nobac applicator.

MPH Fulfilment produces packaging solutions for a range of industries, and have invested in the Edale FL3 as a mainstay press for the production of linerless labels.

According to the company the FL3 is a cost efficient quality label and packaging printing press. As advantages Edale names fast run speeds, quick colour changes and an ultra-short web path ensuring minimum waste and maximum efficiency. With full servo driven technology, the line supports features such as Edale’s UniPrint technology.
