SOUTH AFRICA • Label printer First Impression Labels (FIL) recently added a three-colour Rotocontrol DT-Series modular digital finishing machine to its printing, converting and finishing equipment. This investment is following tow slitter rewinder and a digital inkjet label press in 2014.

The new Rotocontrol DT digital finishing line was installed by Rotocon at the facility in South Afrika. Previously they already installed Rotocontrol RSC 440 mm (17.3″) web width slitter rewinders. The company further supplied FIL a L350UV digital inkjet label press in 2014. FIL produces folding cartons, pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and wrap-around labels for multinational food, home and personal care customers.

A Rotocontrol DT 340 featuring a new delam/relam functionality and a turret rewinder for non-stop production will be demonstrated at Labelexpo Europe 2017 (hall 7, stand D42).
