Epson – SurePress digital label press for the first time at Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2018

THAILAND •At the label show, Epson will demonstrate new solutions for digital printing of labels that will help businesses achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality. The SurePress digital label press will be displayed by Epson Thailand at Labelexpo Southeast Asia, for the first time in the region. Also on display will be Epson’s industrial colour label printers and label printers.
The SurePress L-4533AW Digital Label Press prints high-quality labels and packaging, delivering accurate colour reproduction on a wide variety of substrates, including clear film and metallic substrates. With a water-based pigment seven-colour ink set providing a wide colour gamut, it delivers precise and accurate colour matching, even for speciality colours.
The press is set to enable for label printing with Epson’s Micro Piezo multi-printhead and variable-sized droplet technology for precise printing. According to the company a dual stage drying process ensures optimum ink adhesion to label substrates and the resin-coated pigment ink provides superior adhesion and a glossy surface, ensuring water, light and abrasion resistance on most substrates.
The label press features auto head maintenance for fast and efficient digital workflow. According to Epson, the digital label press offers advanced automated printing features, including up to eight hours of unattended printing, email alerts and minimal manual cleaning. The digital label press L-4533AW features versatile substrate support and prints on off-the-shelf materials from 3.15” up to 13” wide and as thin as 0.00314”.
The event will also showcase its industrial colour label printer ColorWorks C7510G as well as the industrial label solution LabelWorks LW-Z900FK. Epson Thailand will exhibit at the event, held at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 10 to 12 May 2018, at stand D1.
