THAILAND • At the first edition of the Labelexpo Southeast Asia (10-12 May 2018, Bangkok) Bobst presents solutions for label printing and converting. The “star of the show” will be the Bobst M1 line, demonstrating printing and inline converting several times per day.

According to Bobst, its stand will be one of the largest at the show. The Bobst M1 line, a press suitable for label production, will be on display with seven daily printing and inline converting demonstrations (five on 12 May). “We launched the new M1 Line, configured with mechanical line shaft and laser pre-register and automatic register at Labelexpo Europe just over six months ago” explains Matteo Cardinotti, Managing Director of Bobst Firenze and Head of BOBST Narrow & mid-web multi-process Product Line “And I am pleased to say that because we never stop upgrading the performance of our equipment, the 8-color M1 UV flexo press on show will offer even more, further extending the range of filmic applications that can be run on the line”.

According to the Swiss manufacturer, most Bobst machines in the inline UV flexo range are suitable to be configured for applications serving the needs of labels, flexible packaging and folding carton packaging manufactures. The latest developments include the M5X line. Presented last year, an optimised fixed configuration combines the flexibility and quality of labels and packaging production with an attractive level of investment and the short delivery time, so Bobst is argumenting.

Visitors will further see CI flexo and gravure printing presses and laminators suitable for mid- to wide-web short run production, as well as the range of silicone, adhesive and pre/post coating lines and vacuum metallizing solutions suitable for a range of applications in the label and flexible packaging manufacturing industry.
