FINAT – Joschka Fischer at the ELF 2017
GERMANY • Announced as keynote speaker at this year’s FINAT European Label Forum is Joschka Fischer – ex-German foreign minister and vice chancellor. Currently on the Board of Trustees of the International Crisis Group and the Executive Board of the European Council on Foreign Relations, he is also a leading consultant in management strategy, based in Berlin. His name is today synonymous with reasoned and hard-hitting appraisal of the political and business landscape in Europe and beyond, and he will be addressing leaders in the label industry at this year’s ELF in Berlin.
The event will bring together a broad spectrum of supply chain participants, from raw material suppliers to end users, to debate current major strategic business topics and gain in-depth wide-spectrum market knowledge from the formal speaker agenda. In an agenda that is strongly focussed on managing today’s evolutionary status and tomorrow’s possibilities, Joschka Fischer’s contribution will “enable our business leaders to benefit from an assessment of opportunities and challenges in Europe – and beyond – in a much broader context than just the label sector. The packaging industry as a whole is now the subject of extensive outside influences and legislation, including the ‘fourth industrial revolution’ and technology innovation – so we are looking forward with much anticipation to Joschka Fischer’s thoughts and predictions for the future of world business”, as FINAT president Thomas Hagmaier puts it.
