Advanced Vision Technology: Technology Collaboration

ISRAEL. The company is continuing its cooperation with Nilpeter, introducing added-value features to the integrated AVT’s Microcolor/ Mercury digital ink colour control system. The new features are said to decrease startup times and material waste.

One recent development is a CIP3 pre-setting that converts digital job files and accurately pre-sets ink fountains on the press. With this startup time and materials waste reportedly can be reduced by as much as 50%. The enhanced Microcolor/ Mercury and CIP3 pre-setting solutions can be installed on new and existing presses.

Gal Shamri, Vice President of Corporate Business Development at AVT, says, »Following the growing demand of the label and narrow-web market for faster changeover and shorter makeready time, AVT and Nilpeter have collaborated again to provide an integrated digital remote inking and CIP3 pre-setting solution to the Nilpeter M-3300 and MO-4 presses.

With a full upgradability path policy, new and existing customers can easily enjoy a major improvement in productivity and profitability while gaining a competitive edge, even with short-run jobs.«
