CANADA • ETI Converting Equipment, a Canadian company based in Montreal, will be using Labelexpo Americas to showcase the Mini-Cohesio equipped with the Pellicut technology.
The Mini-Cohesio is designed to manufacture rolls of pressure sensitive material or pressure sensitive labels, and is very compact (less than 25 ft (7.6 m)).
The Mini-Cohesio will be launched and showcased for the first time to the American printers at Labelexpo Americas. This 13″ (330mm) web width equipment will be equipped with the Pellicut technology, a patent pending system designed to die-cut thin release liners.
During Labelexpo, ETI will feature a reverse gravure pre-printed label that will be silicone and adhesive coated, as well as die-cut in register, without die marks on the liner, using the Pellicut technology. This process will be performed on an .48 mil (12 micron) PET liner in one manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product, at a speed of up to 500 fpm (150 m/min.).
Live demonstrations of the equipment will be held daily at the ETI stand N 3529.
