Gallus: Handle Matho Disposal Equipment

USA Gallus, Inc. (USA) and Matho Konstruktion & Maschinenbau have formed a strategic relationship intended to provide Gallus’ North American customers new cost effective options for their waste material handling. Matho is a manufacturer of cutting units and waste handling systems for the print and packaging industry, located in Ellwangen, Germany.

Gallus will represent Matho sales in the USA as well as provide consultation, aftermarket services and parts to support the equipment from its headquarters in Philadelphia PA.

“By adding Matho waste handling equipment to our portfolio,” said Brian Bishop, president of Gallus, Inc., “we can better assist our customers on a wider range of print shop solutions. Our strong aftermarket service base will support Matho in North America, a key element in assuring our customers’ success with this new line.”

According to Matho’s sales manager, Matthias Thor, “In addition to providing cutting units with different sizes and type of construction, we support our customers with complete waste extraction systems, spare parts, consumables, used equipment and services, and extensive training programs.”

Gallus designs, tests and manufactures label presses at their headquarters in the Swiss city of St. Gallen Switzerland and also manufactures them at a production facility in Germany. These presses and converting systems are used successfully the world over. The Gallus U.S. sales office has installed over 400 presses in North America since 1981 and supports those installations with online and on-site technical assistance, as well as an extensive spare parts inventory.
