Ritrama have expansion plans in place to create training and employment opportunities for Tameside residents

ITALY • Ritrama UK has announced plans to move to Tameside. The family firm, which has its headquarters in Milan, manufactures self-adhesive materials. It is leaving its base in Eccles to take over a 115,000 sq ft modern building at Tameside Park on Fifth Avenue, Dukinfield (the next major city is Manchester, which is about 12 km away). This move will create 70 new jobs for Tameside residents.

Cllr John Taylor, deputy leader of Tameside Council, said: “Ritrama is the latest high-profile company to establish a presence in Tameside which is rapidly making a name for itself as a business-friendly location. The council has helped Ritrama throughout the process, identifying suitable premises and supporting them with their relocation plans. We look forward to the creation of lots of jobs over the coming years.”

Editors note: Ritrama headquarters remain in Italy.
