Constantia Flexibles – Appointment of Stephan Kühne as chief financial officer

Stephan Kühne has been announced as chief financial officer and member of the management board for Constantia Flexibles

AUSTRIA • Constantia Flexibles announced the appointment of Stephan Kühne as chief financial officer and member of the management board. He will join the flexible packaging and labels group on August 2016, and succeeds former CFO Peter Frauenknecht.

Since 2011, Stephan Kühne has been CFO and managing director of Intersnack Group in Düsseldorf, Germany, a manufacturer of savory snack foods in Europe, with an annual turnover of EUR 2.3 billion euro, 28 manufacturing sites and 8,500 employees. From 2002-2011, he was Member of the Executive Board and CFO of the international trade fair company Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover, Germany. In 1992, he started his career at the mechanical engineering group Klöckner-Werke AG in Duisburg, Germany, as Assistant to the Chairman and Head of Economics department. He then moved to the USA in 1995, carrying out different finance roles. He was promoted to CFO of plastic foil specialist Klöckner Pentaplast of America, Inc. in Gordonsville/VA, USA, in 1999. Stephan Kühne is a graduate in business administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany.
